Abstract
An efficient and novel bromide-catalyzed oxo-amination of aryl alkenes towards the synthesis of α-amine ketones using air as the oxygen source under photoelectrocatalysis conditions was developed. The reaction was characterized by simple operation, a broad substrate scope, high atom economy, and mild reaction conditions. The mechanistic results suggested that the generation of 2-bromo-1-phenylethanoneviaoxo-bromination of aryl alkenes was the key step in this transformation.
