Position title:
English Language Lecturer
Position requirement:
1. English native speaker;
2. MA or Bachelor degree in language teaching, linguistics, literature, education, culture or relevant disciplines;
3. College teaching experience and preferably TEFL/TESOL/ CELTA certificate;
4. Fulfill the qualifications required for working visa and foreign expert certificate.
Position description:
Candidates are expected to work in the School of Foreign Languages in Yuhua, Chenggong campus on a fixed-term basis starting from September 2022. The position involves teaching (12-18 hours/week) courses English Speaking, Academic Writing, A Survey of English-Speaking Countries to undergraduates of English-medium academic programs. Tape recording for exams, and other possible tutoring work for student participants of language competitions when necessary.
Salary and benefits:
Competitive salary will be provided based on qualification. The remuneration includes basic salary, class period subsidy, lunch subsidy, school age salary, assessment reward, housing subsidy, international travel subsidy, and medical insurance.

云南民族大学外国语学院英语语言外教招聘启事
云南民族大学外国语学院成立于1982年。现有英语、日语和翻译三个本科专业，其中英语为一本招生专业，入选国家级级一流本科专业建设点；翻译专业入选云南省级一流本科专业建设点；同时我院设有翻译硕士专业学位授权点，招收英语笔译和英语口译专业学位硕士研究生；设有外国语言文学一级学科硕士学位授权点，招收英语语言文学硕士研究生。目前外国语学院共有全日制在校生928人（本科生787人，研究生141人），其中英语专业本科324人，日语专业本科110人，翻译专业本科197人，英语语言文学专业研究生16人，英语口译专业研究生37人，英语笔译专业研究生98人。
因工作需要，外国语学院现面向海内外公开招聘2名英语语言外教：
一、工作岗位
英语语言讲师
二、岗位要求
1.母语为英语；
2.本科/硕士学位，英语语言教学、语言学、文学、教育学、文化研究或其他相关专业；
3.有高校教学经验、TEFL/TESOL/CELTA证书者优先考虑；
4. 遵守中华人民共和国法律和法规，在其原居住国内无法律纠纷，无犯罪记录（须出具正式证明材料）。
三、岗位职责
该岗位需在呈贡雨花校区工作，上岗时间为2022年9月。主要职责为每周12-18学时教学工作，面向学院本科学生教授《英语口语》、《学术英语写作》、《英语国家概况》相关课程。
